Work you'll do
The Change Management Specialist will support strategic communications and marketing efforts to reach key internal and external stakeholders. They will provide advice and guidance to executives on communications strategies, develop mechanisms for effective two-way communications, and support the implementation and evaluation of organizational change using multiple communications platforms. In this role, they will strive to inform, connect, and engage the customer & stakeholder community to achieve the goals of the client organization.
More specifically, the Change Management Specialist will:
Plan, research and create high quality communications deliverables including: presentations, briefings, email announcements, and reports
Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize change adoption and usage while minimizing resistance
Facilitate change management activities with appropriate tools and methodologies to drive faster adoption, higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes
Collaborate with team leaders and clients to determine change readiness and sustainability of various stakeholder groups
Determine appropriate messaging, style, and context for communications deliverables that support the overall change and communications strategy; work creatively within Deloitte templates; adhere to the Deloitte brand standards; and reflect the needs of our various internal audiences
Contribute to cross-functional projects, as required
Effectively track change management activities against a project schedule and timely communicate schedule milestones and progress to senior stakeholders
Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle to be able to collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Consistently provide the client with latest change management practices and insights

Qualifications
Required:
+ Active TS/SCI security clearance required with an active polygraph aligned with the end client.
+ 2+ years of change management experience.
+ Ability to be on site 100% of the time in Fort Meade, MD.
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
+ Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field
Preferred:
+ Masters degree in an applicable field
+ Prior management consulting experience

This compensation range is specific to Maryland and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,600 - $141,000.
