Overview: The MBA Shingo Coordinator and Program Support will support the MBA office staff in day-to-day operations and will be heavily involved with all Shingo MBA specialization students in the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. In this role, the candidate will serve as the primary point of contact and advisor for all Shingo MBA students and assist them in navigating their academic journey and ensuring Shingo MBA students meet program requirements for graduation. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating marketing and recruiting efforts for the Shingo specialization between the MBA Office and the Shingo Institute and will be responsible for helping develop a system to grow and scale the Shingo specialization. A hybrid remote working schedule may be possible after an appropriate training period in the MBA office along with demonstrated competency. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Academic Advising: Provide academic guidance and support to Shingo Specialization students, including course selection, scheduling, and graduation requirements. Student Support: Serve as a resource for students, offering support and guidance on academic and university matters. Communicate program updates, deadlines, and other important information to students in a timely and effective manner. Program Coordination: Coordinate program activities (such as orientation, Shingo workshops and projects, and events) to enhance the student experience and promote successful completion of program. Collaborate with faculty, MBA and Shingo Institute staff, and other stakeholders to enhance the program and student experience. Program Promotion: Assist MBA and Shingo Institute staff in marketing and recruiting efforts to grow the Shingo specialization. Collaborate and coordinate a system to standardize and scale the program as it grows. Occasional travel may be required. Student Engagement: Foster a sense of community among Shingo MBA students through regular communication, networking opportunities, and engagement initiatives. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress, including grades, credits, and program requirements, to ensure timely completion of the program. Office Support: Assist with office projects as needed. Qualifications: Qualifications: Five years of previous experience in student services or related field preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other relevant software applications. Occasional travel may be required. Preferred: Knowledge of the Shingo Institute and Shingo Model, preferred. Knowledge of higher education policies, procedures, and regulations Utah State University, preferred.
