Senior Project Manager - Federal Construction
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits Package
Location: Hybrid - Based out of Greenwood Village or Colorado Springs office

How you will spend your time as a Senior Project Manager - Federal Construction:
  • Oversee all aspects of the planning, coordination, execution, and supervision of design-bid-build and design-build projects from start-up to close-out.
  • Communicate with owners, subcontractors, architects, designers, suppliers and project personnel concerning project costs, staffing and scheduling for the company's projects.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and train project engineers and junior project managers to become senior project managers.
  • Periodically travel to job sites to check quality, contract compliance, and meet with customers.
  • Participate in proposal creation and estimating to determine timeframe, budget, schedule and procedures that will be used to accomplish the project, staffing requirements and resources in all phases of construction.
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Senior Project Manager - Federal Construction:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • 10+ years construction management experience for a general contractor specializing in federal government projects.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with employees in multiple locations nationwide.
  • OSHA 30 and EM 385-1-1 Training.
  • Ability and desire to maintain and expand client relationships through the delivery of high-quality work.
  • Ability to develop and maintain project budgets using accounting software. Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency specific regulations, including the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR). Experience implementing Contractor Quality Control System Management Plans that align with Government Quality Assurance and Performance Measures.
  • Must be either a citizen of the U.S. or a non-U.S. citizen who has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence as evidenced by a Permanent Resident Card (USCIS I-551).
  • Ability to pass and remain in compliance with required background checks from DoD, DHS, DOJ and other agencies for clearances including Secret and Top Secret.
