Position overview: Public Goods is seeking a vice president of B2B Sales with proven experience in hospitality and short term rental to own all areas of our B2B sales strategy. The ideal candidate will combine a passion for eco-friendly products with a proven track record of B2B sales leadership, ready to build and execute strategies that will establish Public Goods as a preferred supplier. You are able to flex both strategically and operationally while building and inspiring teams to drive excellent results. This is a remote position.

What you’ll do

  • Identify, prioritize, and penetrate key market segments within the short-term rental, hotel and hospitality industries, leveraging our sustainable product line as a unique selling proposition.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy, to meet aggressive revenue targets and drive market growth.
  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment with B2B market needs and opportunities.
  • Design and implement retention and loyalty programs tailored to B2B clients.
  • Track, report, and analyze key sales metrics, performance, and forecasts.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team of four, including hiring, training, and coaching.

Requirements

Who you are: 

  • 10+ years of sales experience with a track record of success in selling to the hospitality industry.
  • You have strong CPG knowledge and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing a sales team.
  • Strong understanding of different sales channels and wholesale operations.
  • Capabilities include Agility, Leadership, Presentation and Storytelling, Creative Problem Solving, and Willingness to Learn
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong strategic thinking and data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • You bring a player/coach mentality to your day to day work and team management. You will bring your unique personality and perspective to work every day.
